These terms cover using this website and buying the artwork on it. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

1. Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Richard Bobrov, a sole trader (Einzelunternehmen) in Germany, trading as buylineart.com. Full details are in the Legal Notice.

2. What this site is

This is an early collection, not the finished marketplace. Every piece here is the operator's own original work. No third-party artists sell through this page, and nothing here is user-uploaded. When the full buylineart.com marketplace opens, it will have its own separate terms.

3. How a purchase works

Gumroad is the seller of record. When you click through to checkout you are buying through Gumroad, Inc., which takes the payment, issues the receipt, and delivers the files. Your payment contract is with Gumroad and Gumroad's terms apply to that transaction alongside these.

What we provide is the artwork and the licence to use it, set out in the Standard License. Where these terms and Gumroad's terms genuinely conflict about the payment itself, Gumroad's govern. The licence is ours and is governed by this document.

Displaying artwork on this page is an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. A contract comes into being when Gumroad confirms your order.

4. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Gumroad determines and adds any VAT, sales tax or equivalent due in your country at checkout, collects it, and remits it to the relevant authority — that is what being the seller of record means. The final amount payable is always the one shown on Gumroad's checkout screen before you confirm.

5. Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate. After payment, Gumroad provides a download containing the artwork as PNG and SVG. There is no physical product, nothing is shipped, and no printed item is included. Raster dimensions are stated on each artwork; the SVG is vector and scales without limit.

You need no special software to use the PNG. The SVG opens in vector editors such as Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape or Figma, and in any modern browser.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately there is a specific rule, and it matters here.

Under § 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), implementing Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal expires once delivery of digital content has begun, provided that you:

expressly consented to delivery starting before the withdrawal period ends, and
acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Gumroad collects both confirmations at checkout. Because the download is made available the moment payment succeeds, in practice the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as you complete the purchase.

If delivery has not yet begun, the full fourteen-day right applies. To withdraw, send a clear statement to [email protected]. No particular form is required and you need not give a reason.

7. Refunds

Separately from the statutory position above, we would rather have a satisfied buyer than an unhappy one holding a file they cannot use.

Something is wrong with the files — they are corrupt, incomplete, a format is missing, or the artwork materially differs from what the page described. Write to us and we will fix it or refund you in full. This is a defect and your statutory warranty rights apply.
You bought the wrong piece, or bought twice by accident. Write within 14 days and we will normally refund as a goodwill gesture.
You simply changed your mind after downloading. We are not obliged to refund, for the reason in section 6, and generally will not — but ask anyway if you think your case is unusual.

Refunds are issued through Gumroad, back to the original payment method. Gumroad's own refund policy also applies and may in some cases be more generous than the above; nothing here limits it. The fastest route is usually to contact us first at [email protected] with your Gumroad receipt.

8. What you may do with the artwork

Every purchase includes the Standard License. In short: personal and commercial use, worldwide, forever, editing permitted, no credit required — but you may not redistribute or resell the file itself, and you may not use the artwork as a logo or trademark. The licence page is the authoritative text; please read it.

9. Using this website

You may browse this site and view the artwork freely. The preview images on this page are provided for the purpose of deciding whether to buy. Please do not scrape, bulk-download, republish or resell them, and do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site.

10. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Artwork may be added, repriced or withdrawn at any time. A change of price does not affect a purchase already completed.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence we are liable only where an obligation essential to the purpose of the contract has been breached (a so-called cardinal obligation), and then only for damage that is foreseeable and typical of this kind of contract. Any further liability is excluded.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Copyright complaints

All work here is original. If you nevertheless believe a piece infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with the work concerned, the URL, and evidence of your rights. We will investigate promptly and remove anything infringing.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you habitually reside. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may bring proceedings in your own country of residence. This matters because the collection is sold worldwide: a buyer in the United States, for instance, keeps whatever consumer protections apply where they live.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your purchase is the one published at the time you bought, and the date at the top shows the current version.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remainder stays in force.
